A simpler way to log referrals
Not every referral starts in RQ. Now you can quickly log one-off or past referrals without going through the full referral flow.
RQ is the best place to make your referrals, but not every referral starts in RQ.
Sometimes a colleague refers a client over email, mentions something in passing, or you get a referral from an adviser not yet using RQ.
While ideally all referrals would go through RQ, sometimes you just need to log it. That is why we have added dedicated functionality to log internal and external referrals, available now in RQ and coming soon to the Outlook App.
What's new
Teams can now capture one-off or past referrals in a simple form. Enter the client's name, choose the adviser, set the direction. It is quicker than the historical importer and works well for ad hoc cases.
How to use it
Go to the Referrals section in RQ and click Log referral.
Add the client name, select the direction (sent or received), choose the adviser or partner involved, and assign it to a team member if needed.
The logging flow gives you two options:
- Add multiple - import from an Excel spreadsheet for bulk historical referrals
- Add single - use a quick form for one-off entries
It is designed to be fast and flexible, so nothing slips through the gaps.
