Faster Scheduler, smarter Outlook detection, and direct lead capture
— Version 5.02
Direct Capture for website leads, a faster Scheduler, an Outlook add-in that quietly spots referrals in the background, an upgraded intelliflo integration, and cleaner historical imports.
This release focuses on the everyday moments that matter most: capturing inbound leads from your website, booking a meeting with a partner, spotting a referral as it leaves your inbox, syncing referrals into your CRM, and bringing past referrals into RQ.
Direct Capture: website leads straight into RQ
A new way to bring inbound leads from your website into RQ, then through to your CRM. Enquiries land as leads, ready to assign and follow up, no spreadsheets or stray inbox threads in between.
- New Direct Capture area in Settings
- Embeddable enquiry form for your website or landing pages
- Simple copy-and-paste embed code
- Live preview before you publish
- Submissions create new leads in RQ (and flow into intelliflo or HubSpot)
- Set default advisers to assign new leads to
Why it matters: a cleaner way to capture website leads, tracked and routed inside RQ alongside everything else. One of the most requested features from the community.
Scheduler: a smoother way to book partner meetings
Scheduler is the part of RQ that lets clients book directly into a partner's calendar when you make a referral. We've rebuilt the experience from the ground up.
- Availability loads faster, with 7 days shown and future dates quietly prefetched in the background
- Only bookable months and dates are shown, so clients never land on an empty page
- Minimum notice and booking windows are honoured properly, no more awkward edge cases
- Timezones are easier to pick, with a searchable list and clear UTC offsets
Why it matters: fewer drop-offs at the booking step, faster introductions, and a more polished experience for the clients you're handing over.
Outlook: from intercepting to detecting
Based on direct user feedback, we've changed how the Outlook add-in works. It used to interrupt you mid-send to redirect a referral. Now it works in the background, quietly detecting potential referrals as they leave your inbox.
You can still send and log referrals manually from the Outlook sidebar exactly as before. The only thing that's changed is the old interception flow, which is now a passive detect.
- No more pop-ups breaking your flow
- RQ collects the signal and the data, so you have an accurate record of what's happening
- You decide when to formally log a referral in RQ, on your terms
- Manual send and log from the sidebar work exactly as they always have
- Clearer wording throughout, so it's obvious what the add-in is doing and why

Why it matters: the add-in stays out of your way while still capturing the referrals that would otherwise go untracked, giving leaders much more accurate data without slowing anyone down.

intelliflo: a redesigned integration
We've given the intelliflo (IO) integration a significant refresh, making setup and ongoing management far easier.
- A redesigned configuration page that's quicker to set up and easier to maintain
- Referrals can now sync into IO as Opportunities, lining up with your sales pipeline
- New controls for opportunity types and status mapping
- Smarter adviser and company matching
- Clearer warnings when a mapping or configuration needs attention
- More reliable client updates flowing across systems
Why it matters: referrals show up in IO where your team already works, with less manual reconciliation and fewer surprises.

Historical imports: cleaner and more reliable
Getting your existing referrals into RQ should be straightforward. We've tightened up the import experience so larger backfills run more smoothly.
- A clearer From / To column structure for historical referrals
- Friendlier spreadsheet headings
- Row-level warnings when a company or contact needs a closer look
- Better detection of invite-style referrals
- Stronger protection against duplicates during high-volume imports
Why it matters: firms can bring in years of past referrals with confidence and start reporting on the full picture sooner.
A small thank you
Most of the insights that drove this release came from customer conversations, especially the Outlook change. Keep the feedback coming, it shapes what we build next.
